Your setup sounds like a good mix of both worlds. My SS Classe amp can really get things cranking where my tube amp would fall on it's face, but I don't enjoy listening very loud most of the time. I think I can live without "DJ/Club" volumes. ( If I had a party, the tube amp would go in the closet temporarily.) But, 55 watts is getting my music reasonably loud.Yes ! You understand ! I have been very nervous lately. Although things are crystal clear and very dynamic with SS, my ears are not relaxing. After time, I find myself turning the volume down. With the tubes, I can turn it up and stay nice and relaxed.
