Hi.This is a AUDIO DIYers' forum, for we Joe Blows to get the best out of our relatively limited available sources. To keep the parts from overheating is one of time & cost saving priorities.
We were not discussing an OEM manufacturers' productivity flow chart whereby meeting deadline of shipment is the first priority. Any damage done to the parts of the PCBs due to whatever reasons, e.g. overheating in the solder bath, is already taken care of as part of the overall production costs.
The difference is someone pay for your mistakes. If you run the OEM, would you take such manufacture pitful or dropout like nobody's business?
Again, this is another apple to orange comparison from you. Thanks but no thanks.
