Folks,Thanks for the responses. I will check out the Velleman or perhaps just order another Pluto board.
I have no need for cleaning the board before starting. I just meant that I didn't wish to get a used PCB, desolder, and practice by resoldering; I couldn't be sure that the board was pristine after desoldering.
I have a Weller WLC100 but have to questions: 1) What numerical setting for the heat is equivalent to a 25-30W iron? and 2) What size tip should I order for a typical PCB soldering job?
