From my vantage point there is no technical issue. The quest for faithful reproduction is a noble one. The notion of recreating realism is fantasy.

As I've eluded, promoting reproduced realism could understandingly have a stench. Realistic is not some bridge between real and fantasy. Why stand on and designate it as audio science? Video doesn't enjoy this delusion. I don't think this hobby needs folks to respect otherwise.
