One very weak response redux

You are incredibly ignorant of the audio business. What you write is drivel.

There are plenty of audio companies selling only to people who really get it. In fact, I can only think of a handful that even try to "appeal to the broad swath of the population with more money than sense" -- Monster comes to mind. They don't sell by "encouraging people to 'just listen'". (If you think they do, please go to your local Monster dealer and ask to spend an hour or two comparing cables.) They sell by offering high profit margins to the dealers and spiffs to the salespeople.
