Do not let you heart be troubled... Even if the electrical ground is a little suspect, the lack of a true earth ground will not effect your life as an audio enthusiast. In test labs where emi performance is monitored a very low ground impedance is required...If you do your best to minimize the impedance between component grounds you will be making the most. The only potential concern is the potential hazards of lightning transmission - you'll need to make sure you are up to snuff in power protection cuz a nearby strike can be pretty far away and still cause probs in a sandy soil senario. And, FL does get its share of God's fireworks.
