You are most fortunate to have the opportunity to hear lots of live unamplfied music and to take advantage of it. I think like any auditory stimulus it's good to hear it again and again and again to wear a neural rut in your brain cells, auditory memory being so notoriously short. I don't think most audiophiles do. Now how would you know what "accurate" sounds like if you'd rarely if ever heard the real thing to compare a recording too? I think that's where a lot of them are at.
