You're Blinded By Believing The Science Being Used Reveal Everything!

Tom, I see you are still stuck in the belief you already measure everything that can be measured or needs to be measured! You may think it’s funny when I suggest there is something hiding from the measurements you're using, hence you don’t & can’t see it!

You may have, after using a TEF machine for 20 years, the overwhelmingly strong impression there is a huge blizzard of information, but you COULD still be missing something in spite of all that information you receive!

Again I ask, what is it about live music that allows one to know almost instantly it's live and not recorded? "IF" your "huge blizzard of information" revealed what that was you'd be implementing it so your speakers would be indistinguishable from live music. Yet I hear no one make that claim about your speakers or of any other component for that matter! Apparently your "huge blizzard of information" hasn't yet revealed what that is to anyone who manufactuers any audio component.

What's really funny is how the scientists and audio designers here in PHP all dug in their heels and firmly resolved like Dan Banquer " I'm not going near your "Gestalt" with a 10 ft pole" or like you say in so many words Tom, that we already know what needs to be known using the tests we presently use.

You are all behaving like Sir Arthur Eddington did when a young man first suggested "black holes" exist. Sir Arthur Eddington sneered so viciously, so continuously at the young man that that explanation was suppressed from general knowledge for nearly forty years.

You keep talking about the "huge blizzard of information" revealed. Our eyes also take in a "huge blizzard of information" but switch to ultra violet or infa red and lo and behold we now see a "huge blizzard of information" revealed that was previously hidden.

I'm amazed at how stubborn the Objectivists here are to the possibility of there being something they are missing using todays measurements that might just influence how we judge what's live and recorded.
