They are there only for show. I never heard any difference with any audiophile PC from the matched stock ones.But I can see why audiophiles IMAGINE they now hear more bass with massive thick gauge PC’s – since the stock ones were so thin and wimpy, my equipment must've certainly been starved for power during demanding bass parts!
