Re: Any amps with tubes will have more distortion and will distort the frequency response

The skilled use of negative voltage feedback to decrease non linear distortion, reduce output impedence, and extend bandwidth is one of the most powerful tools available to the analog circuit designer. Improper use by those who cannot solve the difficult equations which explain them and therefore merely blindly apply it can result in higher distortion and even instability. Judging the value of negative feedback by examining a large number of poorly executed examples is a foolish mistake although given a choice between a poorly executed design and no feedback at all, the later is the lesser of two evils. Congratulations on producing an amplifier which would appear to have many of the best performance characteristics of both tubes and transistors and one you apparantly like. That means you are not a mere tinkerer like many designers today who produce an endless array of me too products.
