You have read the papers from Harman, haven't you?Look for Toole and Olive's papers on DBT's and subjective testing in the JAES and AES conventions, eh?
Look at the company that started electronic audio reproduction, Western Electric. They did lots of blind testing. Well, until the consent decree forced them to give up the business...
