I'll check out some of these - what I can locate. Perhaps they validate/calibrate DBT's using music and therefore lend some credence to SEJ's so far unsubstantiated claim.

Have you read these? Which ones list the equipment, including cables, that were used on the tests? Which ones compare components with known differences that are differentiated... say, from speakers down to electronics to cables? As many objectivists know, even cables designed not to be neutral can have sonic differences. Were those tested against "neutral" cables to show that DBT's are sensitive enough to distinguish the two? I'm not really looking for a bunch of believers that think DBT's work - I'm looking for proof that they are sensitive enough to show ALL the differences that may be present between the two components under test. SEJ has made an extraordinary claim and it's going to take extraordinary evidence to prove it.
