Accuracy is in the ear of the beholder, but....One of the things that good tubed equipment does well that I haven't yet heard from solid state or digital to the same degree is reveal nuances upstream of the recording without altering their interrelationships.
With digitally sourced or, to a lesser extent, solid state processed recordings, subleties of, for instance mic setup, technique and choice tend to be more or less obscured. I hardly have ever heard a digital recording, even SACD or DVDA where I could listen through the entire recording and mastering chain to the extent where I felt that I was listening to a reasonable enough facsimile of what was going through the studio monitors to evaluate such things, yet being able to do this is not at all uncommon with clean all tubed recording/playback chains. This is a separate characteristic from all but fairly gross colorations.
