I was thinking that I was the EMS in your post..But..then this:
""EMS - Give me a break. The schools are failing us. People are not learning basic science. Those measurements don't prove you will hear a difference. You need a carefully designed DBT to determine if these claimed signal changes are audible.""
Yes, I lament the schools and people's basic science understandings....but, the next part? You can count me out there. I've never opined that, nor am I convinced DBT protocols are adequate for imaging changes.
then ya sez:
""iml - When it comes to audio I don't subscribe to methods like dbt that prove all well designed amplifiers sound the same.""
Which, from my previous sentence, would be me...now, I'm gettin (even more) confused..
then:
""EMS - You are so lost I don't know where to begin. First you need to give up the misguided notion that humans have perceptual abilities beyond what science can prove.""
Humans DO have perceptual abilities beyond what science can prove. By this, I am speaking about imaging localization, the science here is way too far in the infancy stage..
While your post is well intentioned, your categorization is not 100%..
Cheers, John
