Cool. Thanks for the links, they were interesting. Besides being fun, one can learn a lot here on AA, or at least get exposed to new ideas. I'll try to find some Mfg. info on this topic and do some playing when time permits. Do you recall the results of your tests with a cartridge?

Funny how things can get lost with improvements. I never noticed problems with flex sensitivity in op-amps prior to SMT CMOS units. The klunky DIPS must have provided pretty good mechanical isolation. So if bigger is better, I may yet get some use out of my box of 30 year old computer capacitors out in the garage. Or not as their electrolyte has probably turned to powder.
