I've been choosing op amps that can be powered unregulated by the battery at +/-12 to +/-13V, and using high-quality discrete regulators where down-regulation is necessary. To obtain higher voltage you can series/parallel multiple 6V or 12V batteries. There are also aircraft batteries at higher voltages.
