Well, we can agree on one thing - gated communities certainly remind me of prisons. Fortunately for me, I live in a region of the US where they are very rare, but one short trip to Phoenix made me want to run away, primarily because almost everyone, whether working class or wealthy, lived behind cheap stucco walls. Ugh. No sense of community, no sense of neighborhood.Now, why people do this we might not agree on, but let's end this on a friendly note! :-)
