I don't know about that. I had some 401's ten or fifteen years ago that I thought sounded better than my friends 901's. Neither were set up correctly of course, they were in dorm rooms. I never liked the 201, 301, 501, 601, or 901's. I think they should have kept building the 401's though. They were great for the $250 or so that I paid for them.Good luck with your project though. I'm interested to hear how this all turns out for you.
