Your description of two 2A3's in series with 5V DC really drives it home for me. I've wanted to hold stead to the idea that the signal currents are completely common mode coming out of the filament. Thinking about DC heating a single filament makes me wonder, but your series connected tubes forces me to abandon the belief that the signal is all common mode. Thanks.-- Dave
