sweeter just less fatigueing. "I think less distortion of any kind is sweeter.
"The ECC99 and the trioded EL84 have a
remarkably similar graph especially
with a horizontal load line "I'm having trouble seeing that. The triode curves for the mullard EL84 do not look near as linear to me as the ECC99. In fact, not even close.
