"At least I base my reports on Iraq on what exists there now -- not on some Repooplican-rose-colored-glasses-neoconservative-view of how wonderful life in Iraq will be at some undisclosed date in the future ... such as just after the next US. Presidential election
... that sends Bush back to Texas ... permanently."Richard, you must have gotten our coversation and another in which you are involved mixed together, as your comment seems to have little to do with anything I have said.
But let me help you in that other conversation by suggesting some minor editing to one phrase. I suggest: "At least I base my views on reports which I have carefully selected to confirm my own highly biased views, which reports purport to reveal in a few short paragraphs containing broad, unsubstantiated generalizations, what "really" exists in Iraq now ...."
Of course, as a weak-spined leftest, no doubt you would have read reports on the hardships encountered by the early settlers in the New World, and suggested that they best return to live out their lives under the heavy hands of the European monarchs. For some reason, leftists seem to love dictators.
Bush sent back to Texas and replaced by one of the I'll-make-whatever-promises-I-have-to-make-in-order-to-get-elected-the-taxpayers-be-damned-and-what-do-I-care-because-it's-not-my-money-anyway "presidential" candidates - IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS.
"I only consider my experiences to be of value to other audiophiles because they have been similar to the experiences of many other audiophiles who have made an effort to "test" their hearing ability under blind conditions."
Of course, the fact that these experiences were conducted by amateurs without any appropriate professional guidance by those knowledgeable in conducting human response and hearing tests matters not, because only yeasayers engage in sloppy and wreckless science.
"People who claim "I know what I hear" consistently fail to prove their hearing ability claims ... again ... and ... again ...
and ... again."People who make absolutist claims which they cannot support and verify are fools - a malody hardly limited to yeasayers and golden ears - just peruse the archives of the AR cable forum.
