I was away from this forum for few days. Now I feel like having told a bunch of wolves that I disagree with the claim that well-grown sheep and goats taste equal :-)I have just a couple of comments to add.
First, I did also more testing than what I described. I could also recognize which cable I was listening in the blind testing (after hearing and seeing its color at the beginning). I also switched cables using the same RCA connectors on the electronics. I also perfomed the testing on the fully balanced Quadlink connections using custom-made Quadlink and still I was able to recognize the cables. At that time I was skeptic but I had to recognize that difference. I'm sure that there is or there will be a scientific explanation. (Although Goedel has proved that any formal system, such that underlying any scientific area, contains facts that cannot be proved to be false or true using the system itself; so science itself has a limitation in proving facts).
Second, I visited Roger Sanders' web site becasue I read in a newsgroup for Quad speakers that he was one of the first designers of ESLs. It was suggested to visit his web site to find suggestions for the best speaker cables for ESLs, which are claimed to be different from the cables employed in common dynamic speakers.
Thanks for all the replies.
Roberto
