HowdyThere are (at least) two possible problems with using two separate outputs on CDPs to A/B cables. Some players have vastly different output circuits for differing outputs (sometimes including different filters, e.g. the Philips SACD-1000) Other players don't have separate drivers for each output so if you put two sets of cables on you may end up with both sets of cables seeing the combined capacitance of the cables. E.g. the worst of both worlds.
