Assuming simple multiple outputs sharing the same driver (or identical separate drivers) it seems to me there are no terribly obvious undesirable interactions, i.e. the cable *not* selected at the pre-amp would in most case be just *dangling*, not in the circiut, so it likely wouldn't be a case of combined lumped LCR values (e.g. the R of unselected cable would be near infinite). However no doubt some minor influence is possible; perhaps someone like Al Sekela could propose some, I dunno perhaps sort of passive resonator effect of the dangling cable?Whatever the case I've learned to avoid if truly clean comparisons are desired.
