HowdyThe only reason I bring it up is that it can really obscure cable differences, especially when comparing cables with vastly different topologies. I was fooled once myself and the differences were obvious when I disconnected the cable which wasn't under test.
On the other hand plugging and unplugging cables can be subject to a good connection one time and a bad connection the next, perhaps slowing cleaning the connections... You get the idea.
Oh well, I'm glad I'm happy with my interconnects now, many pairs for my MC system.
