Well, much of your post was about your beliefs about what will be accomplished in audio testing. But I see no reason to comment on them. That also goes for your beliefs about my motivation, my alleged lack of desire to know the truth, etc. It may amuse you to speculate about such things, but whether true or not, they do nothing to further the discussion about determining audibility.BTW, I only asked about how you level matched the CDPs. I didn't mention the interconnects, and your are right there may no need to level match interconnects (but you never know what someone may design). Based on your previous posts, I can't see that you did a same/difference test at all.
Different CDPs can have widely different output levels. So, now, did you level match the CDPs?
