Dear WillMy tech friend brought me about 5 diffrent Hexfred Shottky types to try. I have them sitting somewhere but can't find them to tell you what exactly they are. I remember that they are the ones that everybody were raving about two years ago. I did not like them at all. It sounds like the effect too much regulation in the PS.
Obviously if regulation is your preferred type of sound over heavy duty LCLC, then the KBU might not be the answer. In my opinion they just sound more analog.
