Better than others.
THe truth is you do listen to your power supply in your amp very much so..The tube rectifiers have a very linear instantaneous rise if you look at the curves and so do many of the newer solid state diodes like the stealth the hex freds.Different rectifiers have different impeadances and of course they will react different when feeding the circuitry.Being they made the SS rectfiers much faster nowadays,you dont have that hard switching of turning on and off and being able to hear it in the amp. But to answer your question different rectifiers have different impeadances and that why they sound different.Also some are more linear than others.
