It would be interesting to find out whether, say, a 160VA, 15-0-15v transformer wound with the wire normally used for a 160VA transformer but wound on a larger core, would sound even better??
I've tried explaining that concept to some make-to-order transformer people here in Oz but I can't seem to get them to understand what I am talking about!!
