Re: Looks like you’re trying to suppress all critical thinking

You accuse me of trying to 'silence any free thinking'. In fact it is the absolute opposite. I am trying to get people to 'take the blinkers off'.
I write as a sane, sensible, intelligent, down to earth, both feet on the ground, Yorkshire woman, I have worked in the audio industry for the past 54 years, and I have no problem with people having healthy scepticism or healthy suspicion.
Yes, I can also revert to using stories (examples) to try to get my thoughts and ideas across but I would (I hope) never resort to character assassination or to treating people as less than intelligent. If I feel that a discussion path is not progressing, then I will just leave it, not revert to what I regard as 'name calling'.
I don't think I am wrong in believing that over 90 % of the people posting on and reading Audio Asylum are intelligent - intelligent enough to know what a scam is. So, I believe it to be a disservice to present to them, as a valid argument/example, the reference to the Nigerian scams !!
Referring to the Nigerian scam was obviously quite deliberate on your part - the Nigerian scam is a deliberate scam, perpetuated repeatedly on vulnerable people. When I use an example such as making a reference to such as Dr Hughes Bennett who said (in the Joseph Lister story) "Where are the germs ? Show them to us and we will believe. Has anybody seen these germs ?" - Joseph Lister was not perpetuating a scam !! He was repeatedly trying to alert people that there was 'something going on' which was not being taken into consideration !! But, nevertheless, was attacked and ridiculed by prominent members of the medical profession over a 15 year period.
The parallel between the Dr Joseph Lister story and Peter Belt story is that Dr. Lister was a Doctor and Surgeon, who also had the experience of many of his patients dying from septicaemia but who had begun to realise that the micro-organisms which caused septicaemia were 'in the air' and not (as had been taught) in the patients own 'bad blood'.
Peter Belt was and still is a skilled electronics engineer who, for 30 years worked completely within conventional electronic and acoustic theories, designing and manufacturing moving coil headphones and loudspeakers, electrostatic headphones and loudspeakers and orthodynamic headphones and loudspeakers when, one day, suddenly and devastatingly, he found that he had the best sound he had ever had in his life - by 'treating' the most unusual objects in the room with a particular chemical !! Objects such as the central heating radiator, the wall lights, the piano, the perspex lid of the turntable and so on. That is how I can recognise the path that Deiter Ennomoser has been along.
All we have done these past 20 years is introduce people to techniques which they can do for themselves, and get the remarkable improvements in their sound which Peter achieved.
No Scam !! No Con !!
If there had been any hint of a scam, then it should be obvious that reputable people involved in the audio industry would not have risked their reputation in reviewing and publicising our products.
But, in your reply to me, you have continued with a technique you have apparently used on a previous occasion - when you used the technique of discrediting Alan Kafton with a fallacious argument and you have again used a similar technique by choosing the term 'peddling questionable supernatural foil' when referring to one of the techniques we produce.
Regards,
May Belt.
