If what you mean by not having a sound is that they do not alter the signal to the point that there are audible changes then we ARE speaking the same language. That is what I have defined as accurate. In my way of seeing things, accurate and better are synonymous. What does this mean in practical terms? Frequency response flat within audible limits. Added intermodulation and harmonic distortion inaudible. Added hum and noise below audible limits. Input/output dynamic linearity deviations inaudible. If there is more, someone please tell me what it is.
