Maybe......that super-low inductance, super-low capacitance cable will actually sound great...it's possible... :-)Who knows..it just means I can design the cable to be the best w/r to an arbitrary metric
I think that's what everyone is doing, with a variety of arbitrary metrics at work, including:
Best measured LCR parameters
Coolest or most outrageous looking
Most exotic construction/materials
Largest Diameter (hmmm....)
Lowest Price
Highest Price -- I'm sure some cables sell purely because they are expensive
Oh, and: Sound quality
The customer chooses based on their criteria. Isn't it called "market forces"?Peter
