That depends on what your goal is. If you are looking to build a well engineered high accuracy sound system, than what you say makes no sense at all. I'm not going to repeat why since that is the crux of the rest of this thread. On the other hand, if you don't care about that, then buying what you like is perfectly acceptable. However, when that is the goal, one product is as good as another and the only arbitor of right and wrong is the capricious desires of the moment.
