In this explaination on the effects of jitter, the author says it actually deforms the output wave. This *should* show up pretty clearly as distortion, shouldn't it?Basically, yup. And the Miller jitter analyzer that JA routinely uses in his measurements of digital components takes its input from the device's analogue output.
