Mostly Jitter Related

Most digital audio tweaks address reducing jitter, or in some instances, reducing RFI/EMI related issues (whether the CDP contaminating the rest of the system, or being affected by other sources of EMI/RFI).

The jitter issue often gets overlooked by folks who are technically inclined, but do not have direct experience with digital audio problems and issues, and have not yet realized that jitter does not show up directly in any of the typical set of basic measurements made on audio components INCLUDING DISTORTION AND SPECTRUM ANALYSIS.
