Untreated, the walls in your room can act 'like' additional loudspeakers. Controlling this element results in more focused, less phasey sound. Additionally they improve dynamics and resolution. Of course, taking advantage of Marigo's money-back guaranty with these would be a real PITA since they are mounted with a strong adhesive.Don't ask me to substantiate these statements, I'm only parroting what I've heard and relating what I've HEARD. BTW, my listening impressions were formed prior to hearing an explanation as to how this product functions. My comments apply to use on walls and windows.
