You seem to be moving toward the thinking (objectivist) side of audio ... just as I move to the feelings (subjectivist) side of audio this year! This is like a strange Bizarro World, as Jerry Seinfield would note.Just this morning I was thinking what every listening room needs is more resonating objects!
Play a slow sinewave sweep from 20 to 100Hz. and you will notice just about everything in the room (and house) already resonates ... so why not add more resonating objects!
Better yet, if you can damp all the existing "buzzing" objects, the music can sound better.
At least the Tice clock could tell you the correct time if it didn't improve the audio!
