That is an accomplishment!1. ...every other mantra audiophiles dream of after reading reams of ad copy and piles of magazines.
Or the correct answer "B", the results of three decades of auditioning a far wider range of equipment that you have. When you know several audio reviewers who have unlimited access to gear, one gets a bit spoiled.
2. Take out another mortgage on your house if you have to.
House was paid off years ago. Which actually might have been a mistake given my tax bracket.
3. If you are Soundmind, what you really need to get started is season tickets to the Symphony, Opera, Ballet, a visit to a church organ and choral concert...
Gee, that's funny. I just returned from a string quartet concert. What a coincidence! I sat in row C. Which is exactly what my mentors who write for TAS do. Dr. Cooledge has been part of the Atlanta Symphony Chorus for three decades. HP regularly attends at Carnegie Hall. At the expense of confusing the issue with facts, that is what they have been promoting since 1973. Glad you're onboard with the concept!
...use your ears, don't pay attention to what people who get paid to write ads and reviews have to say.
Don't you get tired repeating that same old canard that has no bearing on the truth? You've fired one blank on that topic already. Why would anyone rely solely upon reviews when you have the ability to directly experience a wide range of audio gear? I appreciate the fact that is a totally foreign concept to you, but others do not suffer your limited access to the best gear. No matter how many times you attempt to distort the truth, it does not change reality. Get a clue my friend!
And if that doesn't work, learn how to build your own. And that's what I did.
Or at least bolted three tweeters to your AR-9s. Driven by a Dynaco amp and 70s preamp. Great vintage system. Maybe some day you'll discover this century.
BTW, did you notice the thread over in general about you? It was really difficult not to respond to some of the hilarious comments written by others. I didn't want to pile on. :)
