My listening room is only about 15' x 19' so much of the gear is pushed up against the walls when not being used. Of course, some of the speakers, like the Beveridge, McIntosh and Westminsters are designed to be used against walls, so this isn't a problem for them. I would love to get the Acoustats into a larger room eventually, this one is obviously way too small. BTW, my listening room is a dedicated one, so the only furniture is a couch, a couple of end tables and a low wooden machinist's chest used as a coffee table, but it is very crowded with the speakers, amps, books and magazines and of course software. The sub is attached to my 24' x 17' HT and doubles as storage space for garden tools and bikes.
The workshop I mentioned is actually my 8000 square foot car repair shop with 15-18 foot ceilings, so room is not an issue here.
All of this stuff was purchased in good used condition, so despite the bulk, the cash outlay wasn't too great...but I think that with the purchase of the Beveridges, my search for home stereo loudspeakers may be over, and some of the other gear will be resold.
I don't have any pictures, but if there is something you would like to see, let me know and I will take some.
