I was thinking entirely "inside the box". The infinite baffle is a room itself!...but I think that with the purchase of the Beveridges, my search for home stereo loudspeakers may be over, and some of the other gear will be resold.
I remember first hearing them at JWC's long ago. I was pleased to see that Harold's son Rick has revived the company.
...my listening room is a dedicated one, so the only furniture is a couch, a couple of end tables and a low wooden machinist's chest used as a coffee table, but it is very crowded with the speakers, amps, books and magazines and of course software.
Maybe I'm playing semantics, but that doesn't sound like your living room to me (family living space). As you said, that is the listening room and I understand that concept well. Mine is likewise sparsely filled with non-system related stuff. I took Tom's question to be in the context of a shared space where others regularly inhabit as well.
