I agree with charles use your wadia not your DVD player. I'm a guy that never thought ICs, or power cords made a difference, but as I gradually upgraded the quality of my components I was amazed at what
a good quality power cord, or a different IC could do and the funny thing is you don't have to spend thousands on cables to see major improvements. If your source is not capable of producing the true recording, but gives you a muffled colored version instead then you probable won't see a difference in cables, but with good components
I assure you the ICs and power cords will become as important as the
components themselves.
