I thought about the capacitance of the 2nd interconnect being an issue but assumed it would not make too much of a difference. I thought being able to switch between the interconnects on the pre-amp in a fraction of a second was a bigger benefit (including the possible influence of the capacitance of the 2nd cable) compared to the normal switching method (which always takes some time in which 'audible memory loss' plays a negative role as well).
I will give it a try again in the old fashion way (switching cables).
You might have a good point ass well in that the quick A/B switch might make you choose the initial more foreword sounding one which at the end might be the most fatiguing one.
