I tried those AR HT-130 interconnects, and I have to admit that for $20, they were pretty darn good. But they did not perform at the same level of other cables I have used...I did direct comparisons to Audience Au24 and Nordost Blue Heaven ICs, and I heard distinctly better performance from those cables over the AR. Was it 10x+ better (reflecting the 10x+ cost)? No...but they were better enough that I felt I was missing out on my system's full performance level using the AR's. If my "upper-mid-fi" home theater system had any use for ICs (instead of just digital cables), I would definitely use these AR HT-130 ICs. But not on my high end audio system...
