Science can't ever be absolutely certain - that part is correct. The part you're wrong about is the "black and white" part. They aren't MY goings on. Read some of the objectivist posts below. Black and white thinking all down the line. Absolutist thinking. No room for possibilities. Things are what they are.

I guess those folks are the pseudo-scientists since science doesn't ever deal with absolute certainty.

Why would you call something a preference if you're not making comparisons? Thanks for the tip but I'm comfortable with my methodology of listening to components and then determining what sounds best to my ears. Some audio products sound better than others to me. Long term listening works.
