Re: Laser light

Klaus - Might I suggest aiming before shooting?

Of course the coherent light is acting as waves. Don't be silly. The detector is not "counting" photons, as you suggest, it is detecting the presence or absence of the light beam (ON or OFF). You can see laser light in visible spectrum - e.g., a red laser- so your statement that we cannot see light as waves is also false.

All of JSMRs products are quantum in nature. In fact, that is what makes the company stand out - having so many quantum-related products including full range speakers. The various products utilize quantum principles but not necesarily the same ones; the Ultra Tweeters and the Magic Rings apparently use the "waveguide" principle, but the chip does not. The new product (just now available) - a "pretreated" blank CD-R - uses a principle similar to the chip.

I have been told directly by the manufacturer the chip contains quantum material. Even so, I did not initially believe it any more than you, but I did perform "due diligence" to be able to say with high degree of certainty that, in fact, the chip contains "quantum material."

The lab results of the GSIC-30 you refer to indicated certain metals ("transition" metals) - all of these metals, including Nb, are used in quantum dots and quantum dot arrays in various combinations. Coincidence? Odds are against it.

BTW, the lab did not attempt to inspect the nanoscale material inside the metal cladding to confirm the existence of the quantum material. Of course, before they declared "this is not quantum," they should have done that, no? Recall Allen at audioannex originally concluded the small discs were bits aluminum foil, so people can easily jump to wrong conclusion, especially if they have convinced themselves already that the thing could not possibly be "quantum."
