I meant poor in the sense as it does produce "standard" photons which behave according to the wave-particle dualism. Because they have to otherwise the CDP's photodiode could not detect them.

And since your TV set's photodiode also reacts to photons in their particle state, your chip, emitting wave-photons, could not, according to all logic, switch your TV.

The wave-particle dualism is one of the laws of quantum mechanics, why should q-dot photons behave otherwise?
