8.5" by 11.7", IEEE 1394 (which I believe is "firewire" - they should really say that), 1 GIG ram and 80 GIG internal HD no problems.I guess the Pentium M's lower power consumption is likely to produce less heat and therefore reduce cooling requirements, I figured that might come up. But hearing another audiophile confirm it's that quiet means the world - at the low volumes I listen late at night that's my biggest concern. Given that it's 13' away it should be fine by the sound of it.
I'll definitely check into that, even if I don't get "today's hot deal" I know there's some room on the pricing, if I also purchase one or two massive firewire external drives, I'm sure I can get a good price. Thanks!
