Ralph, by this statement

"Especially in the case of the MP-1, 600 ohms has no effect on the output of the preamp. 600 ohms is the standard for termination of balanced lines."

Does the MP-3 have twice the output impedance of the MP-1 by dint of its' having half (?) of the tubes in the circlotron output?

And, would it still be theoretically benefical to set the amps' input at 1.2K, as I have?
