Sorry for my reply--I guess I did'nt understand your question. I thought you were asking about the difference between bal and single ended hookup of your Atma preamp.I remember a while back that the question you have was discussed but I have forgotten about the outcome. Now--I have a question. The stock M60 has a 4.75k resistor in series with pin 2 and 3 of the XLR to pins 1 and 4 of V1. These resistors are part of the feedback circuit. If you remove these resistors to remove the feedback are you saying to replace these resistors with a 1200 ohm resistor in series with pin 2 and 3 of the XLR to pins 1 and 4 of V1? And if so what is supposed to sound like?
Or are you saying to tie pins 2 and 3 of the XLR with a 1200 ohm resistor ??
