I guess I failed to make myself clear; when you use the balanced outputs, you have the option of using low or high impedance balanced inputs on the amplifier (at least that is the case for my Atma MA240 amps; don't know for sure about the M60s). My question was about comparing the sound quality when driving an Atma-sphere amp via its low vs high impedance inputs in balanced mode in both cases, using an MP1/MP3. I was not asking about balanced vs single-ended.
